1. Formation of Task Force
2. Taxonomy and related Ecology and Biogeography Knowledge centres
3. Inclusion of Taxonomy in the Curriculum School, College and University at MSc level.
4. Summer/Winter School on Taxonomy for School and College Teachers
5. Summer Camps for Training in Biodiversity/Ecosystem/Environment for the School/College students (3 weeks)
6. National Workshop on Biodiversity/Taxonomy/Ecology/Biogeography and Environment (April 2006)
7. Employment Opportunities for Taxonomists in India
8. Funding for maintenance and strengthening of Biological collections
9. Strengthening of taxonomic research in lower groups of plants, animals and Microorganisms
10. Development of layman identification manual both electronic and printed version of plant, animals & microbes.
11. Creation of Chairs for taxonomists at Universities and other research centres
12. Utilising the services of retired scientists/Emeritus for Training the trainers.
13. Publication of Monographs of different groups of plants, animals and microbes as well as gray literatures (University thesis).
