Project Steering
About the Commitee
The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change vide F.No.C/12025/03/2010-CS.III (Vol.II) dated 9 September, 2015 constituted the Project Steering Committee to oversee implementation of the ASEAN-India Cooperation Project on "Capacity Building towards Implementing the Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit Sharing, the City Biodiversity Index and the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity".
Terms of Reference of the Committee:
- Ensure that the project goals and objectives are achieved in the defined timeframe
- Review the project progress and suggest implementation strategies periodically.
- Review the project expenditure against activities, outputs and outcomes.
- Approve annual and quarterly work plans and recommend corresponding budget outlays for concerned implementing entities
- Deliberate on any other programme related matter and make recommendations as deemed fit
